Travelling to Guildhall School of Music & Drama
The closest underground station to the Guildhall School is Moorgate which is on the Northern Line of the underground, bank branch. Underground, bus and train maps and information are all available free at most tube and underground stations.
At Moorgate station, get out at any exit and follow signs for the Guildhall School of Music & Drama (The School is a 5 minute walk from the station).

From Heathrow Airport:
By underground to Central London
Heathrow has three underground stations on the Piccadilly Line (dark blue): one for terminal 1,2, & 3, and one each for terminal 4 and 5. Follow the signs for the underground or ask for directions at any information desk. Single fares to central London cost £4.00. The journey time to London via the underground is approximately 50- 60 minutes. To get to the Guildhall School, take the Piccadilly line (dark blue line) eastbound and get off at Kings Cross. Make your way to the Northern Line (black) southbound Bank branch and go to Moorgate.
By Train – Heathrow Express
The train runs from all Heathrow terminals to Paddington station every 15 minutes. The journey time is 15 minutes to Paddington. Tickets cost approximately £15 – £16 at the station (or £17.50 if bought on the train). Trains depart every 15 minutes. To get to the Guildhall School, take the Heathrow Express to Paddington Station and use the underground – take the Hammersmith and City line (pink) eastbound to Moorgate.
From Gatwick Airport:
By Train- Gatwick Express
This is the quickest option. Tickets cost approximately £17 and the journey time to Victoria is approximately 30 minutes. At Victoria, go to the underground station and make your way to the Victoria line (pale blue) Northbound and go to Kings Cross. At Kings Cross, make your way to the Northern Line (black) southbound Bank branch and go to Moorgate.
First Capital Connect to London Bridge and Kings Cross
The journey time approximately 30-40 minutes, and trains run every 15 minutes during the day, and every 30 minutes at night. At London Bridge, go to the underground station and make your way to the Northern line (black) northbound and go to Moorgate. If you are travelling to Kings Cross station, go to the underground station and make your way to the Northern line (black) southbound Bank branch and go to Moorgate.
From Stansted Airport:
By Train- Stansted Express
The journey time to London Liverpool Street Station is approximately 45 minutes. At London Liverpool Street Station, exit the station. From here, it is a 10 minute walk to the School.
From Luton Airport:
By Train- First Capital Connect
Trains travel via London St. Pancras International to Farringdon (this is approximately a 45 minute journey). If you get off at Farringdon station, it is a 15-20 minute walk to the School.
By Road
The Guildhall School of Music & Drama falls within the congestion charge zone, 7am-6pm Monday-Friday.
By Bus
Bus numbers 4, 43, 55, 76, 100 and 153 stop nearby.
