Christian Burgess director

Christian trained as an actor at the Guildhall School and has extensive professional acting experience in theatre, television and film. He is now Vice-Principal and Director of Drama. He has a strong interest in collaboration across the disciplines and has led many initiatives to bring the School’s Acting, Music and Technical Theatre students together, both inside and outside the curriculum.  He is a founding member of the École des Écoles group, and works frequently as a teacher and director in Italy and France, notably at TNS Strasbourg and in Fontainebleau.
